Mr. Stokesbury currently focuses his practice in the area of real estate transactional law with emphasis on lender representation in commercial real estate financing transactions, including SBA 7(a) and 504 loans; commercial leasing; and conveyancing.

Mr. Stokesbury is a graduate of Yale University (B.A. 1981) and Boston University School of Law (J.D. 1984).

Mr. Stokesbury is admitted to the Connecticut Bar (1984), U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut (1985) and United States Supreme Court (1990). He is a member of the Hartford County and Connecticut Bar Associations. He serves on the Connecticut Bar Association Standing Committee on Standards of Title and the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association Real Property Section.

Mr. Stokesbury resides in Avon, Connecticut. He is an elected member of the Town of Avon Board of Education and, in addition, serves as an appointed member of the Town of Avon Administrative Services Study Committee. He is a past president of the Avon Historical Society and a past trustee of the Avon Land Trust.
